Privacy notice

The data controller is the operator of the service. To exercise your rights write to support@tradehunterapp.com.

• Account: email and password (kept only in encrypted form, unreadable to us), the date you accepted the terms and whether you confirmed your email.
• Settings: alert preferences, chosen patterns, time zone, language.
• Trading Journal: the trades, prices and notes you enter.
• Telegram: the chat identifier, only if you link the bot, to send you alerts.
• Feedback: the title, text and photos you send from the Feedback page. Only the Trade Hunter team reads them, together with your name and email, to improve the service and possibly reply to you; they are never shown to other users. Photos are reduced in your browser before sending, which removes the hidden data in the image (for example the location).
• Support chat: the email and Bull Waves ID you enter to use it, the messages you write, the answers and the rating you give them.
• Bull Waves account: when the link with Bull Waves is active, to set the sections you can access we ask Bull Waves whether your account email (only after you have confirmed it) matches one of their clients, and we store the MT5 account number and the balance in dollars with the date of the last check. We do not receive or store passwords, documents or account transactions.
• Two-step verification: if you turn it on, the secret code of the authenticator app (kept encrypted) and the backup codes (kept in unreadable form).
• Technical data: IP address and time of login attempts (to protect the account from abuse, kept for one day) and login sessions (30 days). For administrators, also a log of administration actions with IP address (12 months).

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising profiling.

To provide the service you asked for, including the support chat and the check of your access level with Bull Waves (performance of a contract), to protect it from abusive access and automated sign-ups (legitimate interest) and to comply with legal obligations.

The chat answers are written by an artificial intelligence system (Claude, by Anthropic) based on Trade Hunter's materials and the market data shown in the app. To answer, the text of your messages is sent to Anthropic, which processes it on our behalf and does not use it to train its models. The answers are not financial advice. Administrators may read conversations to correct and improve the answers: when a corrected answer is saved as an example, personal data is removed. Do not write passwords, codes or account details in the chat.

With the technical providers that run the service, which process it on our behalf: hosting and functions (Vercel), database (Neon), support chat answers (Anthropic), confirmation and password recovery emails (Resend), anti-bot check on the sign-up page (Cloudflare Turnstile), messaging (Telegram, if you link the bot). With Bull Waves, when the link is active, we exchange only what is needed to check your account, as described above. The market and macroeconomic data we use (prices, calendar, Federal Reserve data) contain no personal data. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards required by law (for example standard contractual clauses).

We use one technical cookie, needed to keep you logged in, a temporary one during login with two-step verification, and one that remembers the language you chose. Your browser also saves some preferences on your device (Simple or Advanced view, the calculator's capital and risk, the quick guide already seen): they stay on your device and are not sent to us. We do not use profiling cookies or analytics tools. On the sign-up page Cloudflare's anti-bot check may read technical information from the browser, only to tell a person from an automated program. If you turn on the live results box, it is loaded by TradingView, which may use its own cookies under its own notice.

We keep account data until you delete the account. Support chat conversations are deleted after 12 months. Links sent by email expire after 48 hours (confirmation) or one hour (new password). You can delete your account yourself from Settings, "Security and data" section: it permanently deletes the account, journal, support conversations, feedback, Bull Waves account data and Telegram link.

You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing, and you can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante). The service is reserved for adults.
